Inside this bottle, you will find the fruits of a collaboration between Rivertown Brewing Co., The Rookwood, and Smooth Ambler Spirits. A delicious blend of wild ale, spices, and citrus, all aged in a gin barrel, we hope this fine beverage will call to mind the classic gin cocktail that inspired it. It is with great pride that our three companies present: Triumvirate.

Pours a hazy, semi-translucent apricot with a thin eggshell head. Crisp, fruity aroma is almost cider-like, but with malty and banana hints. Sour fruity flavor males you pucker a bit, while hints of malt and butterscotch dash across your palate. Texture is firm and lively, leaving a fruity and - gin? - finish.

Light cloudy straw yellow in color, short white head, sporadic lacing. Gin and tonic meets a mild sour ale. Exactly hits the mark of what was intended. Dry light sour and funk, juniper and piney notes, dry mouthfeel, lemon zest and a touch more citrus, mineral quality from the near-tonic water additions, spicy. Unusual but it works very very well. Kudos for dreaming this up and brewing it.
