500 ml capped bottle. Poured in the special designed Rittmayer craftbeer glass an unfiltered and light hazy straw-yellow coloured Pilsener with a generous one finger and almost white foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is herbal hops on a faint sweety malty backbone and a touch of barnyard. The flavour is a deep herbal and floral hoppy bitterness and sweety grainy malts. The mouthfeel is clean, round and silky. The texture is oily. This light to medium bodied Pilsener has a long hoppy bitter finish. If the nose proves to be quite neutral, the palate offers a well pleasant hoppy surprise. Overall, this Rittmayer Craftmayer, PilsXX, is a characterful Pilsener. More than the try worth !
