    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

500 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Rittmayer craftbeer glass a clear and deep gold-yellow coloured crossover Pils/ESB with a one finger almost white foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Low carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is faint fruity hops, grapefruits, passion fruits, citrus. The flavour is powerful green hops on a solid sweety malty backbone, biscuits, fruity, grapefruits, citrus. The mouthfeel is quite thick, rich hoppy bitter and a bit sticky. The texture is oily. This medium bodied Pils/ESB has a long hoppy bitter finish. This Rittmayer Bitter 58 shows a big contrast between a faint, quite neutral and lazy nose and a powerful hoppy bitter palate. Overall a pleasant and nice crossover Pils/ESB from Upper Franconia. I enjoyed it.
