Ærø Jule Ale - Strong Rudolph is brewed with water from Rise, pale Ale barley malt, wheat malt, dry roasted wheat, black barley malt, caramel malt and sugar. English First Gold and Goldings hops are added during the boil in two steps and the used top fermenting yeast completes this traditionally brewed Jule Ale (Christmas Ale). The colour is deep dark red and the flavour is full and smooth with a nice aromatic hop character. This not all too bitter Jule Ale will fit perfectly to the Danish christmas table. Ascorbic acid is added (E300).

A deep red beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of berries, toffee, and nuts. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, cowberries, and nuts, as well as a light spicy note, leading to a medium bitter, but a bit woody finish, and where the alcohol finally makes it subtly known with a light tickle at the back of the tongue.
