Bright auburn color with a dense, rocky head. Great aroma with a strong toffee focus. Supporting notes of caramel, hops and hazelnut complete a nice bouquet. Mouthfeel is a bit thick and sticky. Heavy malt flavor laced with caramel up front. The caramel fades and is replaced by a healthy hop bitterness in the finish.

Cask, Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Dark amber coloured, with creamy off-white head. This beer had class written all over it as soon as I saw it. Sweet toffee aroma. Sweet malty, but well balanced flavour. Full bodied, with a desirable mouthfeel.
