Imperial Peanut Butter Cup Stout The tradition of this beer goes back to post-Halloween 2011 when Brian bought some discounted candy. He decided to throw a bunch of peanut butter cups into a small batch of milk stout to see what would happen. The beer was such a hit, he decided to brew a full batch for NEW YEAR’S EVE. That’s right folks every year this coveted brew is released on DECEMBER 31! Depravity (formerly Black Gold) has been a tradition every since. Each keg has 1 lb of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and 1 lb of dehydrated peanut butter.

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

12 oz can. Pours dark brown with a small light brown head that quickly goes to a thin collar that leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is some peanut butter and lactose with acidic roast.

The flavor is sweet peanut butter with rich chocolate roast and a bit of slightly fruity alcohol in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, interesting, but a bit boozy yet mild in the flavors.
