This is our first mead released in July 2001. To-date we receive more requests and attention for Black Raspberry Nectar then for any other one of our meads! With the mouth feel and texture of beer and the light taste of a lower alcohol mead this beverage is the very definition of "refreshing". Sweetness: Medium; Alcohol Content: 8%

Another that covers up the 8% dangerously well. Sweet and tart berries with a kiss of honey in an oh so refreshing package. Really starting to like these guys...

Rich ruby red colour ... berry + fruit with light alcohol in the nose .. very smooth but aftertaste is quite as slick .. is very drinkable ..an interesting spin on mead, but maybe mediocre.. enjoyable but not really worth the cost, but happy i tried it...

Tasted on tap at the 2006 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest. This mead pours a light raspberry color. Small head. Aroma is raspberry, fruity and sweet some honey. A light to medium bodied mead. Lots of raspberry and fruit flavors. Semi sweet raspberries with some honey flavor. Very easy drinking mead. A little sticky tasting, but that is kind of expected. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours a clear purple and with soda-like carbonation. A bit of a fruit soda aroma. Very little of the extected mead or honey aromas of most of the meads I’ve had.

Bright Red body. Hmm... I smell black raspberry juice and that’s about it. The flavor is sweet and full of raspberried too...there is some alcohol but not a whole lot of flavor overall. Light bodied and smooth.
