Three on the Tree? You may be too young, but there are lots of us out there who remember. Three on the Tree is wonderfully complex marriage of spicy notes, fruity esters and warming, yet low intensity alcohol. This Belgian-style Tripel is infused with chamomile and lemon and is so much smoother than grandpa shifting into second. Sit back and relax. Just like grandpa, this beer is in no hurry.

Bomber from Ladner BCLDB. Clear pour of dark orange, beneath s slight ivory head. Aroma was spicy, more yeast than spice, though. Flavour again more yeast than spice, sweeter than necessary. 9.5% ABV but alcohol not evident. Mouthfeel quite alright. Not a terrific effort.
