Rick & Barry of R & B Brewing would like to introduce you to our seasonal Winter Ale. Auld Nick is a carefully handcrafted strong, dark ale from our Vancouver microbrewery. Once every year we skillfully blend specialty-malted grains, the traditional hops of Kent, England and over 40 years of brewing experience to create this truly complex and yet surprisingly smooth beer. Local artist FIre-Man has painted his vision of Nick for our label. We recommend aavouring this flavourful, yet mellow and warming beer at 10 - 12 degrees C.

This was a nice brew... I know what a exciting opening line. Tastes a bit like Candy, nice florals, heavier than I was expecting. Could be nice and warm on a cold night for sure. Maybe a bit sweeter than I would like. All around it was well worth the 5 bucks.

I really liked this one, with the dark colour and thick foamy head that fell off a bit quick for my liking. Aroma and taste were both very nice, with some malt and spices evident. Delicious; I'd like this one available all year.
