Corylus is back, and this batch has been double bourbon barrel aged. This decadent imperial stout rested in Breckenridge bourbon barrels for 10 months before being transferred into Weller Full Proof bourbon barrels for another 12 months; its aging process created an incredible depth of character. To top it off, we added organic hand-toasted Oregon hazelnuts, organic Ghanaian cacao, and organic Costa Rican coffee from our friends at Café Milagro. Expect your senses to be greeted with long-awaited aromas of bourbon, caramel and milk chocolate that give way to notes of hazelnut fudge, toasted marshmallow and espresso on the tongue. Double Corylus' warmth and rich, velvety body speak not only to its careful selection of ingredients but to its extended time in barrels; this one was aged to perfection

Pours deep coffee with a thin buff head. Aroma produces roast malt, chocolate, bourbon, coffee, hazelnut notes. Flavor brings milk chocolate, hazelnut, roast malt, bourbon and subtle coffee. Texture gives thick body & lively fizz. Double your corylus, double your stout!
