Great dark body, huge frothy head and thick lacing. Roasty and nutty with some minor exotic spices. Lighter bodied than normal for this style, and it finishes a touch thin......more comparable to a porter. Smooth and blended, nice to drink although nothing stood out.

I was intrigued by this one as I've had a few really nice rum barreled stouts. Thinner than expected pour (and feel). Nose and flavor a little hot...definitely could scale back the rum barreling a bit. It imparts some very nice tropical fruit and spice aroma and flavor, but almost completely overshadows the base beer. Less would be more here, but it was still enjoyed (expectations were quite high after having Bomb! - an amazing brew). I couldn't help but compare, and this was well thinner while also being well hotter, but for all it's faults was still a tasty brew. Thanks again Hannah.
