The Downright Pilsner is a crisp, refreshing, and modern version of a traditional Pilsner, which will delight all summer long. This beer has 4.8% alcohol by volume and boasts a deep golden color and is medium bodied with a soft round malt profile and crisp, spicy, hop character on the finish. Downright Pilsner gets its carbonation completely naturally as it’s kept in the [...] tanks for up to six weeks. A unique twist on this beer is the dry hop addition of Saaz hops during fermentation. This extra infusion of hops gives the beer a refreshing bite on the finish.

Pours clear golden with a frothy and thick but not long-lasting eggshell head. Crisp aroma presents fruity and fresh malt notes, typical but inviting. Flavor delivers crisp malt, pear, hoppy and subtle apple tones - a little bitter for a pils, and I like it! Mouthfeel offers firm, smooth body and good fizz. I’m not a big pilsner fan, but I downright like this one.

I'm just not a pilsner person. This one's a hazy golden yellow with a tall rocky head. Smells of sweet hops, candy, lemon, grass, yeast, orange. The hop flavor is immediate: biting, mellowing, lingering. Yeasty, but also fruity in a grape and citrus kind of way. Prickly, a bit sticky, good lacing, feels too heavy for me.

Golden with a fluffy tan head and nicely carbonated. At first glance it appears to be a run of the mill pilsner, then the lightly hoppy and floral character greet the nose and pallete. Quite a refreshing drink.
