Pours opaque coffee with a thick tan head. Aroma provides roast malt, coffee, earthy, nutty and semi-sweet chocolate notes. Flavor gives rich roast malt, coffee, earthy, nutty and chocolate tones with a hint of woody hops. Texture offers good body and lively fizz. I am enjoying the Black is Beautiful series - because I love stouts, and I have always had African-American friends.
