We let Brownie Batter Batch #1 age for 18 months in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels then blended it with Brownie Batter Batch #2 which has been sitting on VSOP Cognac and Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels for 8 months. These two silky smooth Imperial Sweet Stouts meet in the middle for our best Barrel-Aged Brownie Batter Batch yet!

Pours coffee with a thin buff head. Aroma presents chocolate, roast malt, nutty notes, a hint of cinnamon. Flavor offers chocolate, roast malt, bitter wood, a cinnamon hint. Texture supplies decent body, perky fizz. An oldie (in beer terms) but a goldie!
