We threw in gobs of dark malt to give it strong chocolate and coffee flavors, which intermingle with the citrusy, American style hops. Polar Night is full bodied, firmly bitter and excessively dry hopped to give an intense, yet uniquely balanced experience.

Pours with the color and consistency of old motor oil.frothy head. Lovely in the glass. Looks and smells like an imperial stout. Sweet grain and hay aromas. Mouthfeel a little thin for the style. The taste is hoppy and sweet. Didn't expect the hops but they blend very well and make this beer one of the best stouts I've had. The only downside of this beer is the finish. It tastes a little freezer burned. Maybe that's why its called polar night?
