A refreshingly modern German-style pilsner. Taste: A crisp and clean malt base leads into zesty citrus and hints of sweet honeydew melon followed again by a light biscuity maltiness somewhat reminiscent of pancakes and grandmother’s house in summer. Gentle but assertive hop bitterness finishes off, whilst being washed down by an elegant level of carbonation. Appearance: Pale straw yellow with a light haze and frothy white head. Nose: Fresh lemongrass and delicate elderflower lead you into the glass, and as carbonation releases further aromas a lightly toasted wheat bread appears on the nose. Malts: Pilsner malt zero, Wheat malt, Munich malt Hops: Tettnang, Saphir, Spalter Select
