Dangerously good, this scotch ale has been aged in Kentucky Bourbon barrels and then loaded into Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from the Okanagan. This unique beer has a gentle peat note, complemented by rich vanilla flavours picked up in the barrels. Don't go off half cocked, enjoy this beer in a snifter at cellar temperatures.

From Libations. Poured out resembling a cola, a clear dark brown sort of thing beneath a finger's worth of ivory head. Aroma was understated, just some malt. Taste was spectacular, simply f'n A! The something "extra" added from the time spent in the bourbon and wine barrels really makes this beer into a joy to drink. The high ABV is there, but not obtrusive, and the mouthfeel is rich and creamy without being cloying. More, please!
