Our “Velvet M-80” is a hefty, dry hopped double-red ale with a nose full of aroma, a sticky mouthfeel, a malty middle and unctuous hop flavors. G’Knight sports a surprisingly sensuous finish for a beer of its size (8.7% ABV, 60 IBUs). It’s brewed in tribute to a fellow Colorado craft beer pioneer and Vietnam vet who died fighting a 2002 wild fire outside of our Lyons hometown. For all the details behind this tribute follow this link to www.N3978Y.com. G’Mornin’. G’Day. G’Knight. Formerly called "Gordon"

Can that pours a clean, darker amber colour with a big creamy beige head, very long lasting with some creamy lacing. Aromas of fruity malts, caramel and eventually, spicy hops with grassy notes. Raisin flavours with milder hops. Some decent dryness in the finish, but not overly bitter. Light haze at last pour. Smells pretty nice, but the rest is lacking a little character. Still, an easy one to drink for such a high alcohol content.

355ml can from LCBO. Pours an insane amount of foamy, bubbly beige head and has a fairly clear amber coppery appearance. Nice thick dirty lacing. Aromas of toasty malts, hints of caramel as well as resin and earthy hops. Flavours are sweet and malty, some caramel also makes a strong appearance. Some earthy hop notes. Has a little bit of a rusty metallic like finish, does not detract or lessen from main flavour notes. Good retention. Medium bodied mouthfeel.

Somewhat hazy copper yellow with decent off-white foam head. Aroma is very hoppy. Taste is quite bitter, I like this beer. Perfect for drinking this at the camping in Sweden.(Kalmar 201307)

I had this beer at 1906 Ale House in Roanoke, VA. This was a nice strong ale. I actually think this is my favorite of the Dale's lineup. I'll have this again.

Canned three weeks ago, and now on the shelves throughout oHIo. Amber~copper pour with an on again/off again head and splotchy lacing. Bitter-sweet and very chewy. Sturdy brew with a stinging bitterness. Juicy fruit gum, caramel, flowers and honey. Solid beer, but nothing struck me as great. I'd like more hop flavors to go along with the lingering bitterness, malt profile is pretty good. Not my preference on what makes this style great, give me a Nosferatu over this every time.

An excellent beer. Pour a beautiful coppery-orange colour with a decent sized white head. Aroma is citrusy hops and bread. Flavour is very citrusy with ample notes of bready malt, weak spices, and light fruits.

A bold amber colored beer with a big frothy textured white head that rises boldly above. There's great hang time, settling eventually into a thick splotching of film aside the glass and a moderate ringlet atop the body. Bold aromas and flavors of citric hops, dark cherries, bready malt and brown sugar. A very well crafted beer with excellant degreee of carbonation in a medium body.

Comes out of the tap a hazy copper with a thin off-white head - the latter may be due to how the bartender poured it. Hoppy, fruity aroma has a pine undertone and a sweet hint. Richly hoppy flavor has a good evergreen undertone and minimal bitterness, as well as a honey-sweet hint and a touch of grapefruit. Fizzy, edgy texture leaves a hoppy, fruity finish.

G'knight imperial red pours a deep reddish brown, nice head and lace. Aromas of citrus hops and some caramel malts. Flavor is much the same with the hops taking the forefront with the malts playing a supporting role. A very, good and solid beer, but the rouge st. rouge, deschutes, and independence imp amber i feel are little better.
