Here's a beer we asked to sit and stay, and it did, patiently for almost a year in whisky casks. I Wanna Be Your Dog is our second collaboration with Omnipollo and together we've produced a beer that captures the spirits of both breweries - a barrel-aged imperial stout that smells like a dream and drinks like a dessert in a glass. Overflowing with rich caramel and pecan aromas accompanied by a smooth vanilla custard character present on the palate, intensified by a warm boozy backbone. Beware of the dog, this is obscenely indulgent.

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
July 2020: 330 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 12%. Pitch black colour, large brown head. Intense and nearly sickly sweetish aroma of roast malts, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and pecan nuts. Sweet (but not cloying) flavour with the same elements as the aroma, also notes of mild coffee, oak, whisky and moderate bittering hops.
