Goudenhop is Flemish-American meaning golden hop. The ale is a hoppy blonde ale, perhaps best described as an imperial Belgian-style IPA. Rich gold in color, with distinct hop resin in the nose and citrus in the taste. The body and flavor are clean and dry, with spicy notes from our unique Ommegang house yeast.

Deep, and murky yellow orange amber body, ok head with some spotty lace left behind. Nose has a Belgium yeast/hop aroma, with a bit of flowery/floral nose, pretty nice. Flavors are light, with some flowery aromatics and some strange sweet malts. Strange mixture for sure but interesting none-the-less, worth a try.
