    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

750ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a huge frothy tan head and has a deep dark brown appearance with amber highlights. Thick dirty lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of dark roasted malts, oats, bready malts, some mild chocolate and coffee notes. Flavours are quite similar to aroma with lots of chocolate, coffee and roasted malt notes. Mouthfeel is smooth, silky and a bit oily but just slightly. Some bitterness on the palate but the finish is much more sweet. Mild boozy notes but overall, easily quaffable, goes down quite well.

    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 10

Pours opaque chocolate that lets a bit of daylight through at the bottom and has a thick, persistent tan head. Aroma provides roast malt, chocolate, quality coffee, woody hops, a hint of molasses. Flavor yields roast malt, semi-sweet chocolate, coffee, bitter woody hops, molasses and a touch of toffee. Texture features peppy fizz, firm and smooth body, and a slightly smoky woody hop finish. Fit for a King!
