Tried a 10 oz sample in a flight of 3 lunch-time beers at Tuskies in Leesburg (see retailer review). The color is indeed brown, with a slightly off-white head and (sadly) zero lacing. Even smells brown--malty and cob-webby and faintly cinnamon-y. What makes Belgian Brown "Belgian"? If the aroma didn't convince you, the taste sure will--the distinctive profile of Candi sugar. For some reason, I got the hiccups drinking this beer. Very dry aftertaste had me reaching for a water chaser.
