The beer pours a translucent dark copper colour with a thin white ring for a head. The aroma is caramel, grains, and some earthy hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is roasted malt, weak caramel sweetness, and a metallic bitterness in the finish. -

Pours a nice thick creamy head and has a coppery, light brown appearance. Somewhat weak lacing. Aromas of light roasted malts, nuts and toasty malts. Flavours mostly of nutty, roasted malts with some hints of caramel and very mild grains. Nice slick and oily mouthfeel with a slight warming sensation on the palate. Perfect drink on a mild wintery day, as the beer name suggests. Pretty decent brew from Okanagan.

Okanagan Spring 12-pack mixer with this winter seasonal in it. Now in Quebec for the first time. Pours a clean amber-copper colour with a nice beige, creamy head, great retention and lots of sticky lace. Pretty malty aromas with some roasted ones, caramel, nuts, and hints of chocolate. Quite nice actually and expecting way less, as it says "mild". Lightly bodied, but a decent smoothness to it. The taste is where it shows mild. Still, light roasted grain, wet toffee and a little hop in the finish. Not a bad beer for a macro.
