Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9
Pint can pours with a deep dark viscous used oil spill colored body that supports a thin mocha head of foam. The aroma offers up a thin blast of chocolate that quickly reveals smooth bourbon booze infused dark roasted coffee ending in a pleasing chocolate fudge sensation. The taste delivers rich smooth slippery sweetness and chocolate goodness that slowly builds into thick smooth sweetened dark roasted coffee notes. To midway a modest bourbon booziness shoulders its way in creating additional depth and balance. Another sip uncovers a nutty facet to the dark roasted coffee character that's working nicely. What a great sipper where the booziness is fairly restrained.
