    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

Pint can pours with a sludgy muddy deep dark body that supports a tiny ring of tan bubbles. The aroma offers up inviting notes of boozy German chocolate cake and then a thin river of freshly gutted vanilla bean flowing into a modest bourbon sensation. The taste . . . . dear God! this taste like f***ing cake! Wow. I get a pleasing blend of dark chocolate, a vague but deep nuttiness, a rich chocolate brownie to almost a fudge like character and then growing vanilla and booze to midway. Toward the finish a modest layer of smooth boozy bourbon is revealed to help integrate into the larger sweeter notes at play here. Wow. Fun beer. Fun sipper. Well done.
