Ruby reddish brown colour with small bubbly head. Sweet malts and some caramel in aroma. Flavour is hops, malts and very strong balancing caramel/toffee in the aftertaste. The aftertaste saves the beer, which is surprisingly full palated.

Pours dark cloudy brown with a rich stable beige head that last. Rather weak and airy aroma of nuts, herbs and maybe a hint of dark chocolate. Sligtly watery body and texture. Can pick up nuts, herbs and toffee in the airy mouthfeel. Mild herbal and slightly nutty finish with some dry accents. True to the style but the different flavours doesn't seem to be well integrated.
