Belgian IPA’s are a relatively new creation in the brewing world grasping inspiration from American IPA’s and Double IPA’s while using a Belgian yeast strain. This is an American hop focused beer with esters from the yeast and balanced by the higher alcohol and the dry finish. The Gatekeeper must be respected. A hazy burnt orange, with a tight white head boasting aromas of lychee, gooseberry, pink grapefruit, orange zest, and an underlying pine note. The body is light, full of bright tropical citrus, peppery notes from the yeast, a little biscuit malt character that finishes sharp and very dry. Malts: Pilsner, Vienna, Wheat, Melanoidin Hops: Summit, Simcoe, Citra Yeast: Belgian Ale
