A dark beer of the German Schwarz bier type. With inspiration from a visit in Bamberg our 4.9% version is characterised by local smoked malt. Despite the almost black colour the beer is subtle with discreet aromas of smoke, dark malt and Saazer hops. The taste is dry, crisp and soft with malt character, a little chocolate and it is sehr Schwarz.
