An English style low alcohol ale, 2.4%. Nut brown in color with a reddish hue andand a beautiful off-white head. Sweet malty aromas with a hint of top fermented fruitiness are first impressions. The flavour is malty with dark bread coming through and ends on a slightly bitter note.

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Hazy brown colour, not much head. Aroma is malts, mash and mild fruity notes as well. Flavour is quite similar along with raisins and mild toasted notes. A bit too sweet.

I had this beer out of the tap at the brewery on 19 January 2011 while in Denmark. This beer is actually an ale; however, when I added it I made it a "lager" because lager is the only category that has "Reduced-Alcohol" option. In any event, the beer was nice - very British tasting. It was akin to a standard bitter. The other nice thing is that it is low alcohol. The beers in the Baltics are quite heavy and this was a nice way to change it up. I would have it again.
