Tindved is a sour Norwegian ale brewed with Norwegian malted barley and raw wheat. We added juice from pressed sea buckthorn fruits to obtain the brash sourness. Nøgne Ø ales are unfiltered and unpasteurized so pour carefully if you wish to leave the natural yeast in the bottom of the bottle.

April 2013: 250 ml bottle, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7%. Golden colour, large white head. Pleasant and strong aroma of sea buckthorn, apple cider and brettanomyces, hints of oak. The flavour is fairly sour but not extreme, quite dry, notes of brett and sea buckthorn again, bitter aftertaste.

250ml bottle from the 2014 Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Clear gold pour, although a lot of sediment remained in the bottom of the bottle. A finger's worth of foamy white head appeared, with decent hang time. Tart, fruit, near sour aroma. Above average mouthfeel. Sour, fruity flavour, and refreshing as well. Nice beer, although I'm not a big fan of this style.
