Sweet Horizon is dessert for the ones with a sweet tooth. Black and velvety, with hints of sweet chocolate, fruit, coffee, licorice…..mmmmm! But remember, this is dessert, so do not try to have dessert with it! Ingredients: Grimstad water, malted barley, sugars, coffee, hops, yeast.

black w/ little/no head. diabetes in a bottle, but they somehow pulled it off. coffee added, but you could barely tell in the aroma and couldn't taste it because the beer was SO strong and so sweet. char, licorice, super sweet malts, alcohol, lots of dark fruit and roastiness. deifintely a sipper. split a 8.5? oz bottle. a pint would kill, so drinkability is low, but as advertised...a nice dessert beer. too expensive to go back for, though.

Bottled@Gastropub Nordic, Tampere. Pitch black colour, no head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, some chocolate, coffee, plum, syrup and mild notes of vanilla. Flavour is liquorice, syrup, raisins, mild chocolate, some alcohol, vanilla and mild fruityness. A very pleasant sweet dessert beer.

250 ml(?) bottles, courtesy of the brewery, on a couple of occasions. Pitch black colour, moderate to low tan head. Nice aroma of sweet malts, sweetened coffee, dark dried fruits and oak. Alcohol is noticeable. The flavour is very roasty, very malty and rich, and very sweet - but not too sweet, after all. This is a real treat for any beer lover with a "sweet tooth".
