12 oz. Dark dark brown with chocolate head. My bottle says 100 ibu not 35, and it shows. A beast of a beer, but wonderfully balanced. Full bodied. Hops, deep roast, bitter chocolate, raisins. This one is actually surprising me a bit. Light coffee licorice and char in the bittersweet finish as well. Wrecking Ball is an appropriate name. Underrated.

Comes out of the bottle a deep, warm sable with a thick tan head. Aroma has notes of roast malt and fine coffee plus hints of caramel and woody hops. Smoky malt core supports tones of charred wood, roast quality coffee, caramel, chocolate and toffee. Smooth, fairly firm texture leaves a smoky and caramel finish. Yeah, so who needs Miley Cyrus?

22 oz bottle. Pours dark black brown with a medium creamy brown head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is roasted grains, chocolate and some black licorice.

The flavor is roasted black patent malts, some sweet chocolate, black licorice, vinous alcohol and lots of acidic bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

    Overall, an OK imperial stout.
