La Noire est une bière douce et moelleuse possédant des arômes marqués de caramel et de chocolat. Cette bière s'inspire de l'ancienne bière brune de Lyon brassée au 19 ème siécle et réputée dans toute la France. A l'époque la ville comptait de nombreuses brasseries mais elles disparurent peu à peu avec l'arrivée de l'ére industrielle.

330 ml capped bottle. Poured a clear dark brown-red coloured O.A. with a generous one finger tan foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, caramel, notes of spices, licorice. The flavour is roasted malts, caramel, notes of ashes. The mouthfeel is creamy, a bit oily and smooth. This medium bodied O.A. has a long roasted malts finish. A pleasant Old Ale.
