Dark amber color with small head. Aroma is roasty, malty and sweet. Very tasty and well-balanced. Dry, yet smooth flavours of coffee, liqourice, sugar, tea and alcohol. Maybe to sweet caramel flavours in finish. A beautiful beer.

Dark amberish brown colour with mediumsized beige head. Nice plummy sweet aroma, with hints of spices and alcohol. Plum, raisins and spices in flavour. Very pleasant brew with a long sweetish aftertaste.

Thanks to omhper for sharing this one. A reddish/brown pour w/ very little head, it has a sweet aroma and flavor.

red-brown colour, few head, malty and liquorice aroma, touch of caramel, medium-bodied, sweet with a dry finish - some subtility but by far not the best scotch ale I've tried

This scotch ale pours with a deep red body topped by a thin head with some lacing. The aroma is sweet and amlty and full of candy sugar notes with some caramel. The flavor is sweet and malty with candy sugar notes and a little bitterness. Full bodied and smooth.
