From the Hootenanny, from the PfoxyJohn himself. Tea brown pour, little head not lacing. Nice tart then sour aroma, then almost sweet, a lot going on there, yeasts, funk, mmmmmm, my God the nose alone is great. Sour, tart then sweet flavor, with a funk and slight barnyard that is somehow clean with all of that going on. GREAT linger. Wild, Yes. Great, Yes. Sour, Yes, Tart, Yes. PfoxyJohn, yes - and thank you.... again.

Not really a good beer. I appreciate their idea of spontaneous fermentation but we apperantly have terrible wild yeast in Wisconsin. This was very dry and sharply tart with only a bland flavor. They will keep at this and get it right and I will keep trying it until they do.

More weedy than barnyard sour. Maybe not a horse blanket, but defiantly someone's blanket. Tart and refreshing. NG makes so many of their beers crystal clear and it just didn't look right. Many thanks to phoxyjohn and his better half for acquiring and sharing this special R&D brew!
