Even though it's slightly stronger than Black Betty, there is less of a boozy character in this one. The barreling is mellow but well integrated. Hints at fruit and oak and booze, but the roastiness of the stout and even the hops come through nicely. A hair under Black Betty...between 4.3 & 4.4, but due to the subtle nuances at play here, I'll give it the higher nod. Supposed to be beer 5k, just a few hundred late :)
