Each year the tempered thaw of Muskoka winter gives rise to new and strange creations. Legends date back to the 1800's when lumberjacks and fur traders took to the woods and ecnountered the mysterious culture and wildlife in the unknown Northern region. Today, we echo our ancestors' quest and have unearthed this season's most distinct offerings. The culmination of these ingredients rests in the LEGENDARY MUSKOKA ODDITY brew. We invite you to Release The Legend. Ingredients: Pure Muskoka Water, Heather Tips, Juniper Berries, Sweet Orange Peel Shavings, North American Malts, Noble Hops, Belgian Yeast and Belgian Candi Sugar.

Pours a hazy yellow colour. Large white head and great lacing. Aroma is citrus and yeast. Big citrus flavour, Belgium yeast , spice , lemon, banana and a touch floral. Medium body. Much better than I expected. Goes very well with spicy pizza.

Big bottle with flip top, from the LCBO. Pours a clean golden colour with a big white bubbly head that stays long and creates good lacing. Beautiful fresh hop aromas with notes of citrus, spices and yeast. Very smooth mouthfeel with no traces of burn (alcohol is very well-blended). Citrus taste with oranges, grapefruits, limes. Nice grass, spices and hints licorice. What a great brew from Muskoka (which seems to be adding better and better beers all the time - seasonals). Keep it up !

Pours a decent size white head, a bit bubbly/foamy. Has a hazy golden pale appearance. lacing is fine. Very nice mouthfeel, like a warm and fuzzy feeling. Aroma of wheats and grains, some light malts. Has some tropical fruit flavours and a bit of banana as well. Overall, pretty darn good!

No idea what to expect from this one. It was sitting on the counter of a Liquor Depot beside the till as a feature drink…… Pleasantly surprised, nice and fresh smelling, taste is same. Fresh citrus blast, with light bread, mild flowers and the subtle hint of a eastern European lager. Tim’s dog is liking my feet. I just noticed on the bottle that we a have a higher ABV then I was expecting I’ll have to control myself with future beer if I want to drive home……… I think I hit Belgian yeast but I’m not sure. Very citrusy. I like it, I like it a lot. I could easly drink this again but to be honest I most likely will not. Thank you random beer beside tell at Liquor Depot.

The beer pours a translucent yellow with a white ring of a head. The aroma is yeast, light fruit, spices, and musty grains. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is dry, with ample yeast, grain, and spicy flavours.
