Bought at the Dépanneur À-Tout-Prix in Laval, Quebec. Pours a super dark brown with red highlights. Its tanned head has pretty good retention, but lacing falls a bit short. Fruity, caramel sweet nose with some alcohol. Mild burnt wood is in the back. Creamy mouthfeel with a slight burn at the end, but nothing offensive. The taste is the same as the nose, fruits (apples, mild cherries), roasted malt and caramel. A very good beer for Multi-brasses, but just lacking the top of what a Belgian brewery would brew.
