"Bjor Nagal" is Gaelic for "California Common". This lager is a reflection of the many dedicated hearts and minds needed to to brew a quality beverage. Moylan’s Bjor Nagal is made with Pilsner, Munich and Caramelized malts selected and roasted by Sabine and Thomas Kraus-Weyerman, owners of Weyerman Specialty Malt in Bamberg, Germany. Bittering hops (Spalter & Hallertauer Mittlefruh) were grown in the Hallertauer Region of Germany and sourced by Hops from England. Aromatic hops (Northern Brewer) were also grown in Germany and were sourced by the German Hop Growers Cooperative. We would like to thank Crosby and baker, Ltd. and the german Hop Growers Cooperative for providing the quality malts and hops for this commemorative lager.

all these anchor clones popping up, and i like half of em better than anchor. anyway, this was a nice surprise. light and refreshing but still full flavored with a delicate balance of hop aroma and sweet malt. same in the flavor, with the malt being a touch more dominant. clean finish, but not lacking in complexity. brought home a fresh bottle...
