This classic beer style follows the same guidelines as if this was being brewed in Cologne, Germany. This golden ale is mashed in with a lactic rest to provide a slight tartness and is fermented a little cooler (64F) than our other ales to give this ale a nice refreshing crispness. This Kolsch derived its name from the huge crane that used to reside right in front of the Mountain Sun
