    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Poures out in a near black colour with a firm frothy tan-coloured head. Rich, deep and complex aroma of cardamonn, juniper, licorice, rred berries, , mild wormwood, well-roasted malts, orange-peels and resin. Medium-bodied with a malty star of well-roasted coffeee, cocoa and milky chocolate. Them spicy notes of juniper and cardamon comes up. And finally rounded resinous hops of orange-peels and flowers appears. Complex and a bit confusing. (large amounts X-mas Spices, Amarillo and Simcoe) Firm solid body. Bitter finish of roasted malts, dark chocolate, juniper, grass and resinous hops. Tasty, difficult and intriguing. Now brew a tad stronger version next year and bottle it...then x-mas 2010 is saved.
