Our Situational Ethics series comes to an end this year with three dessert-inspired imperial stouts. This bottle is an ode to vanilla affogato. With a combination of toasted coconut, Batdorf & Bronson coffee, espresso beans, and Ugandan vanilla beans, we’re able to recreate the beautiful contrast of bold espresso and sweet vanilla ice cream. Best enjoyed on its own or poured over coconut ice cream.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

Taps rich coffee brown with a thick golden-cocoa head that leaves heavy lacing. Aroma features roasty, vanilla, chocolate and woody notes. Flavor gives rich roast malt, vanilla, chocolate, boozy and woody tones withs earthy and toffee hints. Texture presents firm, smooth body and lively fizz. I'm sad to see this series end. 😭
