When in Quebec, if you couldn't find Brador, you found Laurentide. Laurentide is a crisper beer than Brador. Lower alcohol content is replaced by more taste and aroma. As the previous rater mentioned, the aroma and taste have a decidedly malty feel to them.

The first time I bought this one was because it came in a 28 pack. This beer is renown in Quebec as an oldy swiller. Pours a golden colour with average carbonation and a big foamy white head. Lacing is pretty decent, thick, chuncky and all around. Good start of aroma with some fresh malt, but then, chemical alcohol nose. Refreshing watery mouthfeel. Nice clean malt taste with the freshness of apples. Very mild notes of corn, but nothing too noticeable. Light hop touch which makes this swill a decent get'er done'er.
