Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Hazy, bright golden colour with a frothy white head, good stay and some foamy lacing left. A Belgian Tripel-spicy base with fresh grassy-citrusy hops and hints of apples, honey. The mouthfeel is on the thinner side, wet with just enough building, mild dryness. Some bitterness appears late and lingers a little. Only getting a bit of the Nelson Sauvin, Sauvignon Blanc grape notes. Getting a little more of the Motueka hops giving the apple-pear, tropical-stone fruit combo. Quite an easy-drinking, very strong Tripel with good hoppiness and the alcohol well-hidden.
