Sampled on 5/5/2012. This IPA pours a slightly cloudy orange gold color from a 330ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, caramel and yeasty. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are earthy and herbal. Decent carbonation. Touch of banana and clove. Yeasty esters, but not all that hefe banana and clove like. A touch of residual sweetness which intensifies as the beer warms. This one is fairly hoppy. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Bottled. Orangeish amber colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is bready and caramelly malty along with some mild spices. Flavour is quite the same with quite strong citrus fruity notes and also mild alcohol comes through.

I had this beer at Mikkeller Bar in Denmark on January 15 2011. This beer was a great wheat beer, however it was sour. This was more of a yeast display than a wheat beer. You wouldn't even know it was a wheat.

probably the least drinkable but most interesting beer in the series. big battle between the aggressive hops and the fairly aggressive hefe yeast...banana, spice, bitter hops...seems stronger than the others though they’re all 8%. cool beer. not sure I’d sit back with a couple pints, but I liked it.
