Decanted this monster, as instructed. Even though I'm not a fan of Black (the base beer) I've liked all the Black Holes, Black Ties, etc... The aroma on this was very bourbon heavy but also very inviting. The rest, though, was a bit rougher. I liked it more than some in our party, but a little pour goes a looooooong way. The barreling was great, and I expected more of a booze like experience than a beer. What kept me from liking it more was the some overly hot ashy tar that was prevelant in black as well...though I think this one better.
