When we were first able to barrel-age our beer we had very little space to do it in. It worked for some time, with most of them maturing from 7 to 8 months. However, some of the biggest feedback we received was that our consumers wanted more barrel to shine through. When we finally expanded we were able to go from 24 barrels to 200 barrels, and we were able to sit on those beers and allow them to mature for a longer period of time. On average, most of the beers in our barrel program now age anywhere from 13 to 24 months. We have also spent more time developing relationships that gave us access to a variety of bourbon barrels, which has allowed us to really zero in and focus on the intricacies that different barrels can provide

Pours dark coffee with minimal head. Aroma generates bourbon, roast, coffee, a chocolate hint. Flavor yields rich and sweet bourbon, quality coffee, chocolate, an earthy hint. Texture presents good body and lively fizz. Keep up this spirit - in more ways than one.
