Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 5
Pours black with no head, almost still, only scarce tiny whisps of foam here and there. Aroma is HUGE, big time bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, molasses, raisins and figs. Flavor starts with sweet vanilla bean, chocolate, and molasses, fig and raisins follows, then a rush of hot, hot bourbon and rum. A long lingering aftertaste of alcohol and raisins. If the alcohol ever smooths out in this, it'll be a fine beer. A little carbonation would go a long way in improving the mouthfeel.
