Czech Pilsner style lager, brilliant gold in color, medium bodied. Full hop flavor throughout, using Czech Saaz hops, imparting a hoppy freshness, yet soft flavors of malt come through. Lagered for 6 weeks. Try it along side a Juicy Burger, a Grilled New York Strip Steak, Smokey BBQ Ribs.

I don't normally get into Pilsners and their grassiness, but this was a bit refreshing. McKenzie's sure makes a drinkable beer across all styles. Color was boring, although the head left decent lacing behind. The flavor was malty with a nice hoppy touch... a very nice and crisp hoppy finish for sure. These beers with the "noble" hops go a longer way for me than the American style hops, especially when things don't get grassy. This may be one of my more likeable pilsners.
