    First brew from this brewery with a can from the LCBO. Pours a hazed light-golden colour with a big frothy white head, long lasting with some dirty lacing. Aromas of herbal hops and citrus notes. The taste is pretty hoppy for a pilsner. A nice bitter finish. Crisp mouthfeel with a dry end. Very well-brewed and you can see when they say "A modern take on the traditional pilsner" and with "citrusy new world hops". More like India Pale Lager.

    The beer pours a slightly hazed pale straw colour with a generous off-white head which recedes to a quarter inch cap. Plenty of tiny tiny bubbles create the effervescence. The aroma is stale grains, some strong citrusy hops (for a pilsner), and light yeast notes. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, crisp, and with average carbonation. The flavour is very nicely balanced between the grainy malt and the citrusy hops, a nice citrus finish for this one.
